Elena Fusar Poli

Elena Fusar Poli is a Ph.D student at the University of Milan, Philosophy Department, in the “Philosophy and human sciences” course, with an anthropological project, focused on the social effects of the Covid-19 pandemic in the Mexican state of Oaxaca (supervisor Prof. Stefano Allovio). The thesis studies the learning, re-learning and reframing processes concerning communitarian practices and knowledge in some indigenous and non-indigenous villages. These analyzed processes constitute a set of strategies to prevent and counter Covid-19 virus and to answer the need to cope with the emergency in an autonomous way.
