Special Collection
The FUEL special digital collection, which is currently under construction, is the result of a theoretical and didactic need to collect and evaluate the growing textual production within feminist and queer thought from a theoretical and political point of view, in order to recognise the prominence it now holds in contemporary philosophy and to meet the demands of the scholarly and student community. The main quality of the collection, which adopts an intersectional approach, is that it includes a variety of textual genres – from scholarly volumes to less academic writings such as occasional essays or, in some cases, even novels – representing the diversity of voices to which FUEL refers. The decision to compile such a broad collection is based on the fact that feminist and queer philosophy is in constant dialogue with a variety of knowledge, from political theory to aesthetics, from epistemology to the life sciences, contributing to the formation of situated knowledge that helps to investigate the processes of constitution of human subjectivity, individually and in community.
