The Department Lab FUEL – Feminist and Queer Philosophy explores the research field of feminist thought and queer theories, considered as a fundamental part of contemporary philosophy. It uses an interdisciplinary, intersectional and decolonial epistemological perspective.

The Lab acts as a place of research and dialogue between students, PhD students and researchers together with the teaching staff of the Department of Philosophy “Piero Martinetti” of the University of Milan and junior and senior scholars active in other Italian and European universities. In addition to the internal research activity – which consists of reading groups, collective discussions, and the planning of third mission events – the Lab offers a semester-long seminar cycle addressed to PhD students of the Philosophy and Human Sciences Doctorate and open to the public.
