She holds a Ph.D. in Feminist Phenomenology from Vita-Salute San Raffaele University (Milan), during which she did research visiting stays in the US (George Washington University) and the UK (University of Exeter). After her Ph.D. defense in September 2021, she works as a postdoctoral fellow at the Women\u2019s and Gender Studies at the University of Haifa.\u00a0<\/span>&#013;\n&#013;\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Her main research interest is the relationship between the rhetorical processes of subjectivation and the situated lived experiences of the Self, which she investigates in the fields of phenomenology, STS, aesthetics, and feminist philosophy.<\/span>&#013;\n&#013;\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In these years, she has explored the topic of pregnancy through the lens of phenomenological analyses (Husserl, Merleau-Ponty, Beauvoir, Young, and contemporary scholars) by investigating the specific temporalities, embodiment, and sensory experiences of the gestating self.<\/span>&#013;\n&#013;\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">She is currently working on a project entitled <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Imagin(in)g. In utero Imagination and Visualization<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, which aims to critically explore fetal personhood as produced by the technological medium, by challenging the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">invisibilization<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> of the maternal subject.\u00a0<\/span>&#013;\n&#013;\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Her research may be found in <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Chiasmi International<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Frontiers in Pain Research<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Puncta.
